A session on VISION-BASED HUMAN-COMPUTER INTERFACES will be held at the Twenty-Eight Annual Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems, and Computers October 31 - November 2, 1994 (Monday - Wednesday) Asilomar Hotel & Conference Grounds, Pacific Grove, California The focus of this session will be the applications of computer vision in human-to-machine interfaces, and computer vision methods suitable for use in interfaces. Examples of work fitting the scope of the session are the methods and applications of head pose estimation, facial feature detection, unconstrained eye tracking, and gesture recognition. ABSTRACT SUBMISSION: Authors should submit two copies of a 50 to 100 word abstract and an extended summary before June 1, 1994. Full papers will be due at the Conference, and published in the spring of 1995. The extended summary will be evaluated for its significance and originality. Abstract must include authors names, affiliation, address, phone, fax, and e-mail. Abstract should be suitable for printing in an Abstract Book, which will be available at the Conference.
