You are invited to participate in the third International Conference
on Document Analysis and Recognition to be held on August 14-16, 1995
at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal, Canada.
The Conference is sponsored by the International Association for Pattern
Recognition (IAPR) Technical Committees 10 and 11, International Graphonomics
Society, and the Canadian Image Processing and Pattern Recognition Society.
This Conference is a unique International Forum for identifying, encouraging
and exchanging ideas on research, development and novel applications
of document related systems and technologies. The topics will include,

Presentation:
The Conference will include oral and poster presentations and
invited talks by distinguished researchers. Posters with a demonstration
are considered at the time of paper submission upon requests by the authors.
All presentations will be in English.
Paper Submission:
Papers should describe original and unpublished work. Those who
wish to present a paper are requested to submit four copies of a
double-spaced complete paper not more than 20 pages by December 1, 1994
to one of the Program Chairmen listed below. The first page of the
manuscript should contain a title, affiliation, mailing address,
phone/fax numbers and e-mail address of the contact author.
The second page should include the title, a 200-word abstract, and
keywords. Papers accepted for presentation will be published in
the conference proceedings, i.e. six pages (approximately 5000 words
including figures) for long papers and four pages (3500 words) for
short and poster papers. We will not review papers
submitted by facsimile or e-mail.
