* The International Workshop on Stereoscopic and Three-Dimensional (3D)
Imaging is organized by the RACE II project DISTIMA (R2045: Digital
Stereoscopic Imaging and Applications) and the COST 230 project
(Stereoscopic Television).
* It will be held in the Aegean island of Santorini in Greece.
* The workshop will consist of sessions with both invited and contributed
papers.
* The workshop proceedings will be published and distributed to the
participants of the workshop.
* Due to workshop facility constraints, attendance will be limited with
priority given to those who submit and present a paper.
* Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- 3D and stereo image coding and transmission
- Human factors of 3DTV
- Stereo camera and acquisition technology
- Stereo and multiview display technology
- Stereoscopic image analysis
- Spatio-temporal interpolation
- 3D imaging in medicine
- Applications
