CALL FOR PARTICIPATIONS 7th BRITISH MACHINE VISION CONFERENCE 9-12 September 1996 The University of Edinburgh The British Machine Vision Conference is the main UK conference for machine vision and related topics. High-quality contributed papers will describe recent and novel research in the areas of computer vision, image analysis and processing, and pattern recognition. BMVC96 is a single-track conference with 39 oral presentations, 36 poster presentations, two invited talks and a pre-conference tutorial programme (free to registered students). There will also be a small industrial exhibition and a bookstall. A printed copy of the Proceedings will be available to delegates at the conference. A selection of the best papers will be published separately in a special issue of the Image and Vision Computing Journal.
