This workshop continues the successful sequence of workshops
``Future Directions of CAD-Based Vision,'' (Maui, Hawaii, Jun. 1991)
and ``2nd CAD-Based Vision Workshop'', (Seven Springs, Penna, Feb. 1994).
AREAS OF INTEREST INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
Performance evaluation of CAD-based vision systems;
Observation-based CAD model generation techniques;
CAD-based sensor and appearance simulation techniques;
CAD-database information retrieval and feature selection techniques;
CAD-based object recognition strategies and their automatic generation;
CAD-based navigation strategies and their automatic generation
techniques landmark recognition;
CAD-based inspection strategies and their automatic generation techniques
(including sensor planning);

PAPER SUBMISSIONS:
Four copies of the full paper must be received by no later than
December 15, 1995 by Prof. Camps at the address given above.
The papers should be submitted IN FINAL, CAMERA-READY FORMAT with
2 columns on 8.5 by 11 un-numbered sheets. Each column is limited
to 3 1/4 inches in width and 8 7/8 inches in length with a
3/8 inch gutter between columns. The margins are 13/16 inch on each
side, 1 1/16 inches on the top and bottom. Text must be single-spaced,
10 point Times Roman with 12 point interline spacing. The first page
of the paper should include the paper title, authors' name and
affiliation, centered on the top, below the top margin. The paper
should be 10 pages or less.
In addition, the submission should include a summary page answering the
following questions:
1. What is the original contribution of this work?
2. Why should this contribution be considered important?
3. What is the most closely related work by others and how does
this work differ?
4. How can other researchers make use of the results of this work?
