CALL FOR PAPERS

                       IEEE SOUTHWEST SYMPOSIUM ON
                    IMAGE ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION

    April 8-9, 1996, Historic Menger Hotel, San Antonio, Texas, U.S.A.

You are cordially invited to attend the IEEE Southwest Symposium on
Image Analysis and Interpretation. The Symposium is sponsored by
The University of Texas at San Antonio, The University of Arizona, and
the Central Texas Section of the IEEE, in cooperation with the IEEE
Signal Processing Society.

The Southwest Symposium will again bring together researchers in
academia, industry, and government working in the area of image analysis.
The program will consist of high quality papers on all aspects of
image analysis and interpretation.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Features & invariants * Stereo image analysis
* Boundary detection * Biomedial image analysis
* Segmentation                              * Remote sensing
* Color image analysis * Automated inspection
* Multiresolution techniques * Document image analysis
* Multidimensional/multi-modality analysis  * Systems & applications
