The 1996 IEEE Region 10 Conference will be held in Perth, Western Australia,
from 27 to 29 November 1996. The theme of the conference, Digital Signal
Processing Applications is intentionally broad to promote wide interaction
among researchers in this important area. The conference also seeks the
participation of developers and planners of DSP system infrastructure.

Sponsored by: IEEE Region 10, IEEE WA Section, IEEE Signal Processing Society,
IEEE Communications Society, IEEE Circuits and Systems Society. In association
with IE(Aust).

Paper submission

Authors are invited to submit 5 copies of a full paper for oral or poster
presentation. Papers, maximum of 6 pages long, should be printed on ISO A4
white papers, written in English in two-column format in Times or very similar
font style, 10 points with 2.5 cm margins on all four sides.
Each submission must be accompanied by a letter that includes the following
information:
full title of the paper
technical area
corresponding author (name, postal and email addresses, telephone and fax
numbers

At least one of the authors must register as a delegate. All papers will be
acknowledged by electronic or postal mail. Papers will be reviewed by senior
researchers in the field.

Best Student Paper Award

Submissions should clearly indicated that the paper is to be considered for the
Best Student Paper Award. A student, or a group of students must be the primary
author(s) and have contributed over 70% of the paper.
