~ Call For Papers ~ IEEE Computer Society Conference on Computer Vision & Pattern Recognition Wyndham Sugar Bay Hotel St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands ~ June 17-19, 1997 ~ http://marathon.csee.usf.edu/cvpr97.html The Program The program will consist of high quality contributed papers on all aspects of computer vision and pattern recognition. Original (previously unpublished) manuscripts on topics in the following categories are solicited: - Segmentation, Grouping - Calibration and Pose Estimation - Shape Representation and - Low-level and Physics-based Vision Recovery - Image Sequence Analysis - Pattern Analysis - Active and Real-Time Vision - Applications - Object Recognition and - Learning in Vision Indexing The conference is not limited to these topics. Authors may specify additional categories to the ones listed above. As is customary with CVPR, reviewing will be double-blind. Paper Submission Papers submitted to CVPR may not be submitted to other conferences or journals during the CVPR review period. Paper submission consists of both following actions: 1) Four copies of complete, blind manuscripts should be received no later than November 20, 1996 by Dan Huttenlocher at the following address: 5157 Upson Hall Computer Science Department Cornell University Ithaca, NY 14853 - U.S.A tel: (607) 255-3036 Papers received after November 20 may be returned unopened. Papers must be submitted in camera-ready format: 2 columns of single-spaced text in 10 point Times Roman (or closely resembling), with 12 point interline spacing. Eight pages are allowed for each paper, including references and illustrations. Papers longer than 8 pages may be rejected without review. In addition to the manuscript, the submission should include a cover page with the paper title, the name and addresses of the authors, and the keywords. 2) To ensure proper handling of your paper, an e-mail message with the title of the paper and the names of the authors must be sent to cvpr97@cs.cornell.edu. The reply address to this message will be used for communication with the authors.
