Call for Proposals:     CVPR 97 Demo Session

CVPR is now accepting submissions for demonstrations of computer
vision, and pattern recognition technologies. Proposals can include
the demonstration of either hardware or software tools on all aspects
of computer vision and pattern recognition. Possible examples include
but are not limited to: Scanners, Stereo Assemblies, Imaging Devices,
Image Analysis Systems, Image Databases, etc. Proposed demonstrations
will be reviewed by the Demo Program Committee. Last year we had a
number of excellent demonstrations which included participants from
both Academia and Industry. If you have any questions, send email to

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

One electronic version of the proposal should be submitted no latter 
than December 7, 1996 to the following email address with a subject 
title of "CVPR Demo Proposal": lynne_grewe@monterey.edu

The proposal should be no longer than two pages and it should adhere to 
the following from:

  1. Names of Participants with address, phone and e-mail address
  2. Title of Demonstration
  3. Explanation of Demonstration concise description of demonstration
     process and goal.
  4. Time and Space Needs description of space needed as well as       
approximate time to run a complete demonstration.
  5. Power or Other Special Needs description of space needed as well as
  6. Equipment description of equipment you will be using. Unless 
otherwise stated, it will be assumed you will be bring your own 
equipment.
  7. Related Publications list of related publications.

For-Profit Organizations $500 (US)


Important Dates

   * December 7, 1996 - Proposals due.
   * January 30, 1997 - Notification of acceptance
