   1)  Technical program
       The technical program may be viewed on the WWW at

        along with other useful information such as travel, dining, and
        entertainment.

    2)  Opening and Award Ceremony
        
        All ICASSP participants are cordially invited to this impressive
        experience in the Gasteig Philharmonic Hall.

        Please note the date of the ceremony : Monday, 21 April, 9.00 a.m.

        March 15, 1997.

        WHAT DOES REGISTRATION INCLUDE?

                a)  Conference Proceedings on CD-ROM.
                b)  Admission to all technical sessions and exhibits.
                c)  Welcome Reception and Exhibitors Reception.
                d)  Coffee during the breaks

        PLEASE NOTE:

                Conference Registration does NOT include a paper copy of
                the proceedings.  Furthermore, if you want to guarantee
                that one will be printed and available either before or
                at the conference, you MUST place an order with your
                paid registration by March 1, 1997. Only a small number will
                be printed in excess of the number ordered.  Once these
                are gone, copies will only be available through the IEEE
                (at a higher price).

                In addition, please note that full registration does NOT
                include a ticket for the Bavarian Evening.
                If you wish to attend this event,
                tickets may be  purchased for DM 90.  We believe
                that the program will be exceptional!  So plan on attending.
