 Control & Automation - Journal of the Brazilian Automation Society

 Research and development in the general area of automation have been
 achieving breakthroughs which point to the construction of systems with
 greater flexible and autonomous capabilities. These capabilities need
 the implementation of sophisticated sensorial functions, which make
 possible the interaction with complex environments, and on this aspect
 Computational Vision plays a major part. Computational Vision is a key
 area in developing solutions and a deeper understanding of how an
 intelligent agent interacts with the world. Possible topics for papers
 submitted to the special issue include, but are not limited to:
 *  Object Recognition
 *  Active Vision
 *  Visual Tracking
 * Visual Perception and Related Biological Processes
 *  Image Acquisition
 *  Segmentation and Feature Extraction
 *  Matching
 *  Geometric Modelling
 *  Physics Based Vision
 *  VLSI for Computational Vision
 *  Applications
