To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the IEEE Signal Processing
Society, we are organizing a Panel at ICIP98 to assess the past
achievements and current status of Image Processing, and to ascertain
future research directions.
 
The Panel will be held on Sunday, October 4, 1998, 4:30-6 pm.
