The Indian Conference on Computer Vision, Graphics and Image Processing
is being started as a forum for exchange of ideas among researchers
and for promoting future research in these and allied areas.
The first conference in this series is being organized in New Delhi
by IIT, Delhi. The conference will feature presentations of reviewed
papers in single track, posters and several invited talks.
There will also be sessions where participants (especially from the
industry and national research laboratories) can present their work,
exchange ideas and receive feedback.

Authors interested in presenting their work are invited to submit
complete papers, typically, but not exclusively, in the areas:

It is expected that if the submission is accepted, then one
of the authors will attend the conference and present the work.
Submission
----------
Submission is restricted to 15-page complete papers (A4 size,
double spaced, 12 pt.) including figures and references.
All papers should include full name and affiliation
of each author, mailing address, e-mail address (if available),
an abstract (200 words) and a short list of key words.
The work described in the submission should not have already
been published elsewhere.
Proceedings
-----------
The proceedings of the conference will be published, and will include
accepted papers, posters and papers contributed by the invited speakers.

Notification to Authors : 1 September 1998
Camera Ready Copy due: 1 October 1998
