Of the 2 hotels where room blocks have been reserved, the Hampton Inn is the more conveniently located and we have reserved most rooms there. The deadline for registration is, however, earlier at that hotel than at Jumer's. You are advised not to wait until September to reserve a room. Prices listed include tax. ------------------------- 1. Hampton Inn 1200 West University Avenue Urbana, IL 61801, 800-426-7866 or 217-337-1100 $66.60/all rooms on 10/7 and 10/8. The cost goes up on 10/9 to $88.80. Method of Reservation: Call the hotel directly. Whether you use the 800 (preferred) or the 217 number, you should refer to Group Name "VLB." The block of rooms will be released on July 15! After that time, reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, and the group rate is not necessarily honored.
