CALL FOR PAPERS FOR SECOND
WORKSHOP ON AUTOMATIC IDENTIFICATION
ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES
Morristown, New Jersey, USA
4-5 October, 1999

This workshop brings together researchers, developers, and users of
automatic identification technologies including:
* Biometrics: Fingerprint, Eye, Face, Voice, Hand, Signature, Other.
* Bar Code Systems and Other Symbologies
* Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)
* Other Visual Identification Technologies
These auto-ID fields are at an exciting time in their evolution. Novel
research developments are being made at a high rate, and these are being
implemented into commercial systems. This workshop encourages attendance
of
both academic and industry participants to present, examine, and discuss
new developments. The two-day workshop will include paper presentations,
panel sessions, technology demonstrations, and meetings.
Technical papers are solicited in the topic areas listed above. These
papers may describe research ideas, technical systems, or applications.
Since this is a scientific and technical meeting, non-technical talks are
not solicited. Important dates for the workshop are as follows: Paper
submission deadline, 19-April-99; Notification of Acceptance, 1-June-99;
Camera-Ready Paper, 15-July-99.
For paper submission, please send a 1-4 page abstract by 19-April-99 to
