Matching and Indexing
Model Acquisition
Motion Analysis
Object Recognition
Pattern Analysis
Performance Evaluation and Analysis
Real-Time, Active Vision and Tracking
Segmentation, Grouping and Feature Extraction
Sensors
Shape Representation and Recovery
Stereo
Vision and Learning
The conference is not limited to the above topics. Authors may specify
additional categories. As is customary with CVPR, reviewing will be
double-blind.
Paper Submission
----------------
CVPR paper submission consists of both the following actions:
1) To ensure proper handling of your paper authors must submit the title
of the paper, email contact address, topic areas, ASCII abstract and
the names of the authors to (before mailing the paper):
http://www.cs.colostate.edu/~cvpr99/authors/submit.html
Each paper will be automatically assigned a submission number. This
submission number will be used to identify and track your paper.
This online submission allows rapid assignment and review and the
data will be used to generate the final author and title lists.
2) Five copies of complete, blind manuscripts should be received no
later than December 2, 1998 at the following address:
J. Ross Beveridge
Department of Computer Science
Colorado State University
Fort Collins, CO 80523, USA
TEL : 970-491-5862
FAX : 970-491-2466
Papers submitted to CVPR may not be submitted to other conferences
during the CVPR review period. Papers received after December 2nd
may be returned unopened.
It is recommended that submitted papers be no longer than six pages
in IEEE two-column format (the final conference format), including
figures and references. Since authors of accepted papers will be
given the option of purchasing a seventh page, papers of seven pages
in length will be reviewed. However, it must be understood that
submission of a seven page manuscript may compel purchase of the
extra page should the paper be accepted. Papers exceeding seven
pages may be rejected without review.
Complete formatting instructions and a LaTeX style file are available
from the web page. The paper should exclude any information which
compromises the anonymity of the authors. The cover sheet should
include:
(1) the submission number from the online submission,
(2) the title of the paper,
(3) the names of the authors,
(4) up to five technical categories given in ranked order,
(5) the name, mailing address, telephone and fax number, and e-mail
address of the contact author.
3) To ensure proper handling of your paper, submit the title of the paper,
ASCII abstract, the names of the authors, and the other information
requested on the form using (before mailing the paper):
http://www.cs.colostate.edu/~cvpr99/authors/submit.html
