Call for
Workshop Proposals and Tutorial Course Proposals
Associated with CVPR 99
The CVPR 99 Organizing Committee is soliciting requests for
proposals for workshops and tutorial courses that will be
held in conjunction with CVPR 99 (Fort Collins, Colorado,
June 23-25, 1999). If you are an expert in an area of CVPR
and would like to organize an exciting and important
workshop or tutorial, we welcome your proposal. Workshop
proposals will be reviewed by the PAMI Technical Committee.
Tutorial courses will be reviewed by the CVPR 99 Organizing
Committee. It is recommended that proposals be submitted by
June 15, 1998. Workshop proposals will be presented to the
PAMI TC at the meeting held in conjunction with CVPR 98 in
Santa Barbara. A representative for your proposal should
attend this meeting if at all possible in order to answer
any questions. Proposals may be submitted later, but there
will be a diminishing chance that the necessary logistics
can be carried out in the required time.
For Workshops, the proposal should indicate:
+o Title
+o Chair and organizing committee
+o Expected duration (one day, two day)
+o Description and rationale for the workshop (topic areas, goals)
+o Format (submitted papers?, invited papers?, posters?, demos?)
+o Proceedings?
+o Estimated attendance
For Tutorial courses, the proposal should indicate:
+o Title
+o Organizers
+o Speakers
+o Topic areas
+o Intended audience level (beginning, intermediate, advanced)
