TUTORIAL PROGRAMME
Four eminent experts will give an update on the lastest techniques in
image processing and vision in this intensive tutorial.
Those new to research in image processing and vision and the design of
vision systems will find the tutorial of most benefit. The tutorial will
also be valuable for those who need a refresher on currently important
topics such as colour processing, low level vision, video database
searching and evaluation of image quality.
Because of the participative nature of the tutorials, the discussion
periods will also provide opportunities for greater in-depth interaction
with the accumulated knowledge of the presenters.
For those furthering their education the tutorial will provide the
opportunity to relate to the issues of today. For those working on image
processing, image analysis, computer vision, inspection, surveillance,
vehicle guidance, robotics or related areas of industry (as
manufacturers of equipment, suppliers of services or as end users), the
tutorial will provide the opportunity to become more informed and more
effective.
The target audience of the tutorial is all those with an interest in, or
need to work on, imaging, image processing and vision systems.
