TECHNICAL PROGRAM
Adaptive Signal Processing, Detection, Estimation, and Countermeasures for:
Radar Sonar Communications Imaging
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
Researchers from academia, industry, and government will meet on 14-15
March 2000 to present and discuss the latest advances in adaptive
processing and their application to defense and commercial systems. The
technical committee seeks new presentations that clearly describe the
challenges of adaptive techniques along with quantitative or experimental
substantiation. All submissions will be competitively reviewed and judged
on their technical quality, novelty, and relevance to the technical
program.
Workshop attendance is contingent upon advance registration. There will be
both UNCLASSIFIED and CLASSIFIED sessions. Attendance to the CLASSIFIED
session will only be open to U.S. citizens who have forwarded their
clearance information in advance.
Authors are directed to submit unclassified abstracts (approved for
unlimited distribution) of no more than 300 words. To ensure fair review
of all submissions, authors must also complete the cover sheet. The
abstract and cover sheet may be submitted either electronically via
http://www.ll.mit.edu/asap or to the address given below. The workshop
will be divided into 25 minute oral presentations and poster presentations
with an oral précis. Presenters are encouraged to provide a six page
(maximum) paper at the time of the workshop for publication in the author's
choice of an archival unclassified proceedings or a restricted-access
classified proceedings. In addition, all presenters will have an
opportunity to have their viewgraph presentation made available on the ASAP
web page shortly after the conference for more timely dissemination of
their material. Please see specified guidelines.
Immediately following the ASAP workshop, the first IEEE Sensor Array and
Multichannel (SAM) signal processing workshop will take place on 16-17
March 2000 in Cambridge, MA. The IEEE SAM workshop is the principle IEEE
conference devoted to array processing. For more information visit the SAM
2000 website at sam2000.uconn.edu.
Authors are encouraged to submit abstracts for presentations and cover
sheets either electronically or by mail to:
