MULTIMEDIA 2001

The Ninth ACM International Multimedia conference will be held in
Ottawa, Canada's beautiful capital. Often called "Silicon Valley
North", Ottowa has a high concentration of major telecommunications
and software companies, such as NORTEL, ALCATEL/NEWBRIDGE, MITEL,
COREL, COGNOS, JDS Uniphase, Entrust and many others. The conference
complements this setting by presenting and exploring technological and
artistic advancements in multimedia. Technical issues, theory and
practice, artistic and consumer innovations will bring together
researchers, artists, developers, educators, performers, and
practitioners of multimedia. Present your work at Multimedia 2001 and
define the future of multimedia in the next millennium.

Multimedia 2001 cordially invites your participation in this premier
annual multimedia event by submitting your work in all aspects of
multimedia computing: from underlying technologies to applications,
from theory to practice, and from servers to networks to end-user
devices.
