                       Final Call for Papers
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

                       25th Workshop of the
AUSTRIAN ASSOCIATION FOR PATTERN RECOGNITION (AAPR)

"Computer Vision, Computer Graphics and Photogrammetry - a Common
Viewpoint"

                       Berchtesgaden, Bavaria, Germany
                             June 7-8, 2001

In the past Computer Vision, Computer Graphics and Photogrammetry have
been considered as different scientific areas. Recent work on treating
these subjects from a more common viewpoint demonstrate an increasing
mutual interest on the approaches of other communities. As an example,
we mention the new terms of "image-based rendering" for the field of
computer graphics and "image-based modelling" for computer vision. The
25th anniversary of the AAPR workshop is dedicated to bring researchers
of all three societies together and to discuss mutual interests and
links.
