Call for Papers
---------------
Theme: Recent Advances in Computer
Vision and Satellite Image Processing

The ICVGIP is the prime Indian conference in the area of image processing,
vision and graphics, and is held every alternate year. Usually there
is a large number of participants from both India and abroad. The next
ICVGIP is scheduled to be held at the sprawling campus of Space
Application Center (SAC), Ahmedabad -- the hub of activity for the
Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Ahmedabad is very well
connected by air and rail to Mumbai and Delhi.

Original contributions are solicited for presentation at the Indian
Conference on Computer Vision, Graphics and Image Processing
(ICVGIP'02). The topics of interest include (but are not limited to)
the following:

        Stereo Vision
        3D Shape and Structure Analysis
        Motion and Video Analysis
        Sensors, Imaging model and Simulation
        Pattern Analysis and Classification
        Computational and Statistical Methods
        Satellite Data Analysis and Interpretation
        Image and Video Compression
        Content-Based Image Retrieval
        Document Image Processing
        3D Modeling and Visualization
        Image-Based Rendering
        View Synthesis
        Visual Special Effects
        Biomedical and other Applications

The paper should be limited to a total of SIX A4 size pages
(two-column ICVGIP'02 format). There should be a separate cover page
indicating the address for correspondence. Please note that FIVE
hard copies of the paper have to be sent. In addition, an
electronic version, in Postscript (PS) format or Portable
Document Format (PDF) should also be submitted. (The mode
for submission of the electronic version will be intimated
in due course of time, on the conference web page). The hard
copies are to be mailed to:
