invite you to attend the International Symposium on Wearable Computers
(ISWC), sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society. We are excited about this
year's conference and encourage you to take advantage of the early

Registration
To qualify for advance registration discounts, your registration form and
payment must be received by 5pm Eastern Time, Friday, 13 September 2002. The
IEEE ISWC on-line registration form is available at:

Conference registration includes a copy of the conference proceedings,
admission to the technical sessions, exhibits, fashion and gadget shows,
demonstration session/reception, and daily refreshment breaks. Tutorial
registration is in addition to regular conference registration.

Overview
A total of 52 papers will be presented including 3 keynote talks, 21 regular
paper presentations and 18 poster presentations. In addition, four 1/2-day
tutorials are scheduled for Monday, October 7, and afternoon case studies
will be presented on Wednesday and Thursday, October 9 and 10. ISWC is
hosting a fashion show for the first time this year.  On Tuesday evening,
attendees are invited to participate the the demonstration session. This
will be a great opportunity for a hands-on update about the latest equipment
and devices while enjoying some northwest microbrews. Coffee breaks will be
held in the exhibit area. (Companies interested in participating as an

Who Should Attend
Researchers, product vendors, fashion designers, textile manufacturers,
users, and all interested parties to share information and advances in
wearable computing.
