 IMAGE AND VISION COMPUTING NEW ZEALAND (IVCNZ) 2002

 IVCNZ is New Zealand's premier conference for innovations in computer
 vision and image processing. Held annually, it attracts an international
 forum of scientists and researchers from over a dozen countries. IVCNZ
 has expanded its horizons since its inception in 1986 and now has tracks
 covering advances in 3-D computer graphics and visualization. 
 
 IVCNZ 2002 will be held in New Zealand's largest city, Auckland.
 Affectionately known as the "City of Sails" because of its passion for
 sailing, Auckland will also be venue for the premier yacht racing event:
 the 2002/2003 America's Cup. Our delegates will have an opportunity to
 see the racing yachts at America's Cup village, which is walking
 distance from the conference venue. 
 
 This years conference tracks include: technical papers, posters,
 exhibitions, and invited speakers. Papers are invited from all areas of
 image processing, computer vision, and computer graphics. We invite you
 to take part in the IVCNZ 2002 conference by submitting a technical
 paper or poster and joining us in the City of Sails.
