CALL FOR PAPERS
Second IEEE Sensor Array and Multichannel Signal Processing Workshop

The IEEE Sensor Array and Multichannel (SAM) technical committee announces
the second SAM Workshop to be held in August 2002 in the Washington, DC
area. The SAM Workshop is the principal IEEE conference devoted to array
processing. The organizing committee invites the international community
to present and discuss state-of-the-art developments in sensor array and
multichannel signal processing. SAM 2002 will feature:

- Distinguished lectures presented by leading experts
- Open forum for peer reviewed poster presentations

Authors are invited to submit a 2-3 page extended summary in the areas of:

- Signal parameter estimation
- Detection
- Adaptive beamforming
- Space-time adaptive processing
- Channel modeling and equalization
- Source separation
- Multichannel imaging
- Radar and sonar array processing
- Space-time coding and processing for communications
- Biomedical applications
- Synthetic aperture techniques
- Electromagnetic, acoustic, and seismic applications
- Microphone array applications
- Performance evaluations with experimental data
- Multichannel communications
