URGENT NOTICE - ICASSP 03 CANCELLED


The presence of SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) in Hong Kong,
the site for ICASSP 03, scheduled for 6-10 April 2003, makes it
impossible for ICASSP to be held this year.

Each registrant will receive a notice from the Conference, providing
information about reimbursement of registration fees, and delivery of the
Conference record.

We are sorry that we cannot host you at ICASSP in Hong Kong this year.
Please join us in Montreal, Quebec, Canada next May for ICASSP 04.
