ICME 2003 Call for Demos

ICME 2003 will host one demonstration session on each day of the
conference, July 7, 8 & 9, 2003. The goal of the demonstration
sessions is to allow members of the multimedia community an opportunity
to demonstrate working multimedia systems. This environment allows
conference participants to view demonstrations firsthand in a manner
not possible in a technical talk or poster session alone. We request
proposals for demonstrations from anyone in the multimedia community,
including researchers, academic institutions, research labs, and
industry.

The demonstration sessions will be held in the exhibit hall / poster
area of the conference. Each demonstration will be allotted a
three-hour time slot (to coincide with the poster session timing).
Each demonstration area will have a 4 foot by 8 foot posterboard as a
backdrop with a table in front of the area with power available, if
requested. We suggest that participants bring a poster to the session
to support their demonstration. We would like for the demonstrations
to be 10 to 30 minutes in length, and that the demonstration be
presented several times during the three hour session. This will allow
people the time to observe several demonstrations. Please visit the
ICME 2003 website http://www.icme2003.com for the most current
information on the demonstration sessions.

Demonstrations submitted by March 15, 2003 will be allotted 2 pdf pages
on the CDROM proceedings; those demonstrations submitted after
March 15, 2003 will not be given space in the proceedings.
