CALL FOR PAPERS * Imaging, Visualization and Computational Intelligence* Technical session to be held in conjunction with * The 2003 International Conference on Imaging Science, Systems, and Technology (CISST '03) and * The 2003 International Multiconferences in Computer Science & Engineering June 23-26, 2003, Monte Carlo Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA SCOPE * Fusion, Registration and Conflation of imagery and maps with different resolution and associated possibly contradictory information; * Feature Extraction and Pattern Recognition, * Support of imagery and Information Analysis Tasks (geospatial, medical and other) using new tools from image analysis, computational intelligence and visualization; * General problems of decision making based on imagery analysis, and Design of XML-type semantic languages for imagery analysis; * Information visualization; * Blending Imaging Science, Visualization and Computational Intelligence to improve decision making. SUBMISSION OF PAPERS Prospective authors are invited to submit their draft paper (about 4 to 5 pages) to session organizers Boris Kovalerchuk or Jim Schwing by March 15, 2003. E-mail and Fax submissions are encourages. The length of the Camera-Ready papers (if accepted) will be limited to 7 pages. Papers must not have been previously published or currently submitted for publication elsewhere. The first page of the draft paper should include: title of the paper, name, affiliation, postal address, E-mail address, telephone number, and Fax number for each author. The first page should also include the name of the author who will be presenting the paper (if accepted) and a maximum of 5 keywords.
