Vision, Video, and Graphics 10 - 11 July 2003 University of Bath http://www.cs.bath.ac.uk/vvg/ VVG'03 is a new event aimed specifically at bringing together Computer Vision and Computer Graphics researchers. The overarching topic is the convergence of vision, video, and graphics and so encompasses all that is significant in contemporary image-based research. We have had a tremendous response to our Call for Papers, and have put together a programme which we believe is entertaining and informative. The quality is such that we have been able to forward papers to two journals and the whole proceedings will be published by Eurographics. ** We have four excellent invited speakers: Brian Barsky, Steve Feiner, Markus Gross, and Steve Seitz. ** We have student bursaries to fund PhD students attending, and there is no requirement for a paper to be presented. ** There will be an EPSRC "Convergence Community" session, where we will explore how best to take forward the convergence agenda and what funding opportunties might arise. ** And the event takes place in Bath, a world heritage city, at a time of year which will allow you to enjoy the city and region to its maximum.
