Conference Chair Dr. Enrico Gobbetti founder and director of the Visual Computing (ViC) group at the Center for Advanced Studies, Research, and Development in Sardinia (CRS4), Italy. His research interests include many different areas of computer graphics. Recently, Dr. Gobbetti developed a new type of coarse-grained adaptive multiresolution techniques for processing and rendering large scale geometric models. Keynote Speaker Dr. Paolo Cignoni is a permanent researcher at the Institute of of Information Science and Technologies (ISTI) of the National Research Council in Pisa, Italy. His research interests include 3D scanning, multiresolution models, and scientific visualization. Dr. Cignoni's talk will address "Advances and Challenges in Level-of-Detail Rendering Techniques".
