The deadline for submission of proposals for workshops to be held as part of the 2007 IEEE CVPR (OCTOBER 8th) is approaching fast. Appropriate subjects for workshops include all aspects of computer vision, pattern recognition and related fields and applications. The main criteria for workshop selection will be the topic appeal to a large enough section of the community and the expected quality of program to warrant a successfully organized workshop. The workshop proceedings will appear on the conference CD-ROM and will be indexed in IEEExplore. Thus, the final version of accepted papers must be ready at the same time as final versions for the papers for the main conference. Registration to workshops will be, as in previous CVPRs, using a passport system, thus there is no need for a separate budget for workshops. Rooms, coffee breaks and audio visual equipment will be taken care by the main conference. Please see the following web site http://cvpr.cv.ri.cmu.edu/workshops.htm for details on how to submit a proposal. For any inquiries, please contact: Octavia Camps Professor ECE Dept.
