Call for Papers Journal of Computer Animation and Virtual Worlds Special Issue on Medical Applications of Computer Graphics Paper submission deadline: January 31, 2008 The field of computer graphics has impacted a number of application domains. An area where computer graphics has made significant advances is medicine. Medical volume visualization, in particular, has a long and active history in the computer graphics community. This special issue will provide a forum to explore the enormous potential that computer graphics holds for medical applications and will be a catalyst for future applications of graphics in the medical community. The emphasis will be on technical novelty as opposed to novel medical applications of well-known techniques.
