NIZHNY NOVGOROD Nizhny Novgorod is the 4th largest city in Russia, ranking after Moscow, St.-Petersburg, and Novosibirsk. The city was founded by Grand Duke Yuri II of Russia in 1221 at the confluence of two famous Russian rivers - the Volga and the Oka. There are more than 600 unique historic, architectural, and cultural monuments in the city; that gave grounds to UNESCO to include Nizhny Novgorod in the list of 100 cities of the world which are of great historical and cultural value. We hope that your stay in Nizhny Novgorod will give you the unforgettable feelings. More information about Nizhny Novgorod can be found at: http://www.admgor.nnov.ru/english/index.html. PRE- AND POST-CONFERENCE TOURS A wide program of tours will be suggested to PRIA-9-2008 participants.
