Papers in the main technical program must describe original
research. The conference proceedings will be published by Springer in
the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series. To encourage high
quality submissions, various paper prizes will be awarded at the
conference. The award-winning papers will be selected to appear in a
future special issue of the International Journal of Computer Vision
(IJCV) and IPSJ Transactions on Computer Vision and Applications
