Computational Intelligence includes neural networks, fuzzy logic, evolutionary algorithms, swarm intelligence, and other emerging learning or optimization techniques. Topics of interest include but are not limited to: * Biometric algorithms, techniques and systems * Signal and image processing for biometric data * Biometric applications for security and defense * Biometric documents (RFID, ePassort, etc.) * Liveness test and spoofing countermeasures. * Multiple biometrics, multi-modal biometrics and intelligent data fusion * Human factors, privacy issues, and protection of the biometric templates * Mobile biometric devices and embedded biometric systems * Biometric conformance and interoperability testing/evaluation
