CIMVIP 2010 International Workshop on Computational Intelligence for Multimedia Visual Information Processing Egypt http://pythia.inf.brad.ac.uk/CIMVIP_ISDA2010/ 29 November - 1 December 2010 Due Date: 17 July 2010 The purpose of the workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners from different fields with interest in applications of data mining, artificial intelligence and computer vision in processing video and image resources. The wide spread use of social networks allows people to upload and share their personal images and videos. Low cost storage and image/video capturing devices have led to the availability of huge amounts of multimedia data, such as pictures and video records, which come at the cost of increased pressure to process them. More research needs to be done in terms of processing, analyzing, mining, managing and searching multimedia visual data. We are looking for original and high-quality submissions that address the evolution and recent developments of various multimedia visual information processing methodologies, ranging from statistical, fuzzy sets, neural, evolutionary, to hybrid soft computing for analyzing, organizing and retrieving of image! s and videos from the databases.
