CVPR 2010 Short Courses & Tutorials: Call for Proposals Deadline: December 4, 2010 Short Courses Chair: Serge Belongie (sjb@cs.ucsd.edu) The IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) will take place in San Francisco between June 13-18, 2010. Short courses and tutorials will take place on June 13, 14 and/or 18, 2010, at the same venue as CVPR, the Hyatt Regency San Francisco. Short courses and tutorials are usually half-day with the option of full day courses for wider scope topics. They aim to address a specific topic in computer vision and are supposed to provide a comprehensive overview of the topic. The audience is mostly graduate students. The topic should be of sufficient relevance with respect to the state of the art and the course should rather be educating than just a survey of techniques.
