Call for Papers: Computer Vision and Image Understanding: Special Issue in Celebration of Professor J.K. Aggarwal Prof. J.K. (Jake) Aggarwal, a Cullen Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Director of the Computer and Vision Research Center at University of Texas, Austin, TX is world renowned for his many pioneering contributions to computer vision. In particular, Jake is one of the founders of the fundamental and classical area of computer vision namely, structure from motion. Jake has also made original and significant contributions to several other areas of computer vision including but not limited to, analysis and understanding of range images, analysis of articulated motion, human activity modeling and recognition and automatic target recognition using multi-modal sensors. This special issue is brought to you in recognition and honor of the multi-faceted contributions of Jake to computer vision.
