The three-day main conference will include invited keynote and oral presentations. ICIMCS 2012 will provide a forum for researchers and engineers in both academia and industry to exchange the latest innovations and research advancements in Internet multimedia processing, analysis and services.ICIMCS 2012 also provides the attendees the chances to identify the emerging research topics, as well as the future development directions of internet multimedia computing and services. Topics Topics include, but are not limited to: • Learning techniques for internet multimedia annotation and classification • Image/video indexing, query and ranking for internet services • Multimedia mining and understanding in social networks • Cross media computing by integrating visual, aural and textual information • Human and social factor issues for internet multimedia computing • Adaptive multimedia accessing and browsing for mobile equipment • Digital right management and data protection for multimedia • Interactive Internet multimedia management and service systems • Performance evaluation for large scale multimedia processing Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished papers. All the papers of ICIMCS 2012 will be indexed by EI. Notice that all the papers of ICIMCS 2009-2011 have been indexed by EI. · The selected high quality papers from ICIMCS 2012 will be invited to submit to a special issue of Multimedia Systems Journal (MMSJ) (SCI indexed). · Dr. Klara Nahrstedt and Dr. Zhengyou Zhang will give keynote speeches at ICIMICS 2012.
