Du (Mississippi State University, USA) Eckart Michaelsen (FGAN Research Institute for Optronics and Pattern Recognition, Germany) Peijun Du (Nanjing University, China) Scope: The workshop papers will cover interdisciplinary research on novel pattern recognition techniques for the analysis of data collected from spaceborne or airborne sensors used for Earth observation. Topics of interest include pattern classification, object recognition, image segmentation, registration, motion analysis, with applications such as urban analysis, tracking, change detection on various types of data obtained from optical, synthetic aperture radar, and LIDAR sensors. Younan, Mississippi State University, USA Paper Submission: Papers must be written in English, have no more than four (4) double column pages, and should adhere to the ICPR conference submission guidelines regarding the paper format (see Paper Submission at the ICPR 2012 website http://www.icpr2012.org). Reviewing will be double-blind: authors will not know the names of the reviewers of their papers, and reviewers will not know the names of the authors. In submitting a paper to PRRS, the authors acknowledge that no paper substantially similar in content has been or will be submitted to another conference or workshop during the PRRS review period. The workshop proceedings will be indexed in IEEE Xplore. Only the papers that are presented in the workshop will be included in the proceedings.
