Special Session on Non-Linear Embedded Vision

The Special Session is open for contributions that discuss non-linear
vision processing for embedded applications. Non-linearity is an
important aspect of real-life digital image processing. Lense
curvature, light dispersion and air movement are just a few of the
reasons why images may be deformed. Even small errors in images
captured by a smartphone will become too visible when displayed on a
large screen. Therefore vision improvements must be embedded in the
camera phone.

Notification of interest can be sent before 11 Februari 2012 to
lambert.at.eit.lth.se, stating the provisional title and list of
authors of the planned contribution. Then the following time plan
evolves:

24 Februari: 1-page synopsis
20 April: 6-page 2-column paper
8 June: Acceptance notification
29 June: Final paper submission
29-31 August Paper presentation at the conference
