SIGGRAPH Asia 2012 is calling for submissions to its inaugural
program, Technical Briefs (Short Papers).  Each paper is 4 page long,
and is a real publication, included in the ACM Digital Library. This
new program focuses on the intersection of computer vision and image
processing with computer graphics, and will be a dynamic forum for
innovative and thought-provoking ideas.  All accepted work is an oral
presentation at the conference.  The submission deadline is 20 August,
23:59 UTC/GMT.

Technical Briefs welcomes submissions spanning a myriad of research
areas, including:

    Sensor-based human-computer interaction
    Graphics and human-computer interface
    High dynamic range imaging
    High-definition imaging
    3D imaging
    Image processing for graphics
    High dynamic range and high definition video
    3D video
    3D audio
    Mixed reality
    Augment reality
    Virtual reality
    Graphics and multimedia

The 5th ACM SIGGRAPH Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics
and Interactive Techniques in Asia will take place in Singapore at the
Singapore EXPO from 28 November – 1 December 2012. The conference
