This is the official Call for Proposals for CVPR 2013. Just for your information, following are the venues for the next 3 CVPRs: CVPR 2010 (West Coast, San Francisco), CVPR 2011 (Middle, Colorado Springs), CVPR 2012 (East Coast, Rhode Island) Please send proposals to sarkar@cse.usf.edu by May 31, 2010. The proposal should include the following information: date, city, site, hotel, and half the team details. The team should contact the hotel/site to make sure the intended dates are indeed available. Some estimate of lodging costs should be included. My advice would be to plan for >1500 participants. If the teams so desires, proposals received by this due date will be publicized to the PAMI-TC list well before the meeting. They will get to choose in which order their proposals are presented at the PAMI-TC meeting. Proposals submitted by this date will also be able to receive valuable advice from the PAMI-TC Conference Committee (to be constituted from past CVPR/ICCV general or program chairs). At the PAMI-TC meeting (12.25pm - 13.25pm on the Wednesday, June 16, lunch will be provided), we will have presentation of Final Bids. All key chairs are expected to be present at the meeting. As a reminder, the IEEE PAMI TC voted at CVPR-2009 & ICCV-2010 to adopt a policy that program chairs and general chairs of all major PAMI TC conferences cannot submit papers to that conference the year in which they are chairing.
