ICCV 2017 Call for Proposals

ICCV 2017 Call: Call for Proposals for ICCV 2017. Under the traditional ICCV geographical rotation, ICCV 2017 should be held in Europe. Please send proposals to rdz@cs.cornell.edu by November 1, 2013. The proposal should include the following information: date, city, site, hotel, and team details (general chairs, program chairs, finance chair, local arrangements, and some of the other members in charge of the program). The team should contact the hotel/site to make sure the intended dates are indeed available. Proposers are encouraged to submit a preliminary budget, and required to provide an estimate of registration fees. The proposal should specify the sponsorship model (pure IEEE-CS, mixed IEEE-CS/CVF, or other) and the plan for any journal special issue. Voting will be conducted using the same process as we used for CVPR16: there will be an electronic vote open to all registered attendees at ICCV13, which will open after the bids are presented at the TC meeting. -- Following the motion passed at CVPR13, the PAMI-TC now has an awards committee and a conflicts of interest policy, as described at http://www.computer.org/portal/web/tcpami/Award-Committee. The committee is in charge of all awards at ICCV13 except for those given to ICCV13 papers, which are the responsibility of the program chairs. Two of these awards are for career achievement, and nominations are solicited as described below. There will be an award in memory of Mark Everingham, for contributions to the computer vision community, and also awards for papers from previous ICCV's that have stood the test of time.
