It is our great pleasure to announce that the International Conference on Multimedia and Human-Computer Interaction MHCI'13 will be held in Toronto, Canada July 18-20, 2013. This conference will be hosted by the International Academy of Science, Engineering, and Technology (International ASET Inc.). MHCI is a specialized conference covering many different topics related to theories and applications of multimedia and human-computer interaction. One of the main goals of this conference is to bring together, researchers active in the two fields (and related sub-fields), and to foster an environment conducive to exchanging ideas and information. This is especially important since the mentioned fields can largely benefit from increased collaboration as interactive multimedia is becoming a rather dominant field of technology. Short papers or full manuscripts are welcome for submission prior to March 1st, according to the guidelines given on the conference website. The papers will be reviewed by our scientific committee. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version to the International Journal of Virtual Worlds and Human Computer Interaction (VWHCI) or Journal of Multimedia Theory and Applications (JMTA). If you require early acceptance of your work because of time requirement to obtain a visa, please submit your short papers or full manuscripts at the earliest convenience.
