The workshop is organized by the Multimedia Signal Processing Technical Committee of the IEEE Signal Processing Society. Authors are invited to submit DEMOS and ON-GOING WORK papers in all application areas identified in the call for papers. *** On-going Work *** A 2 page description of new research ideas and on-going projects from all areas related to multimedia signal processing. The On-going Work Track aims to present research that is not mature enough to warrant a full paper but which would be of interest to the general community. Accepted items will be presented as posters and made available online in the workshop web site. *** Demos *** Prospective presenters in the demonstration session are required to submit one abstract, which must be 1 page long including images, hyperlinks to demo previews and other references. The abstract will clearly identify at least: - The technology to be demonstrated and its novelty - Interactivity with the audience, if any - The equipment provided by the demonstrator - The equipment required at the place of the demo Abstract submissions will be evaluated by a committee formed by technical experts from academia and industry. Demonstrations will be selected on the basis of their technical quality and their potential interest for attendees of MMSP’13. Interactive demonstrations will be very positively considered.
