Call for Panel Proposal PCM 2013 Introduction The Pacific-Rim Conference on Multimedia (PCM) (http://mcg.ict.ac.cn/pcm2013/) is a leading international conference for researchers and industry practitioners to share and showcase their new ideas, original research results and engineering development experiences from various multimedia areas. The conference invites proposals for panel sessions on timely and potentially controversial issues in all areas of multimedia being it innovative methods, advanced systems, emerging applications, industry trends, or technical breakthroughs. Submission Guideline Topics include but not limited to the followings: Ÿ Multimedia Content Analysis and Retrieval Ÿ Mobile Search Ÿ Social Media Ÿ Applications and Systems Ÿ Industry Trends The panel proposal should include the following: Ÿ Short bio of the panel organizer(s) Ÿ Suggested panel members (at least confirm three out of five members) Ÿ Short bios of the panel members.
