International SenseCam Conference 2013 Ethics, Analysis, and Applications of Life Logging Images to Health and Related behaviors. Date: Mon 18th November – Tuesday 19th November 2013 Location: CALIT2 (Atkinson Hall), UCSD, San Diego Call for abstracts/papers: May 1st 2013 Deadline for Abstracts: June 15th 2013 Notification for presentations and posters: August 15th 2013 This two day conference, the fourth in the SenseCam series, will bring together international experts in computational science, behavior science, health sciences, and related fields. This gathering will facilitate innovative transdisciplinary discussions of image and lifelogging data; the ethics, analysis and applications. The conference will comprise keynote speakers, expert panelists, investigator presentations, and student posters. The conference will aim to develop guidelines to allow comparable methods across studies which will advance the science. In particular, we hope to identify new applications and opportunities to use images to change behaviors demonstrating that a picture is worth a thousand words.
