------------------------------------------------------------------ SIBGRAPI 2013 - Conference on Graphics, Patterns and Images Arequipa, Peru August 05-08, 2013 http://www.ucsp.edu.pe/sibgrapi2013/ ------------------------------------------------------------------ Call for Technical Papers Submission deadline: April 21, 2013 SIBGRAPI - Conference on Graphics, Patterns and Images (formerly Brazilian Symposium on Computer Graphics and Image Processing) is a traditional forum (edition 26th) bringing together researchers, students and professionals in Computer Graphics, Image Processing, Computer Vision, Visualization, Pattern Recognition and related areas. For the first time SIBGRAPI will be held outside of Brazil, in the historical city of Arequipa, Peru. Arequipa is placed in the Southern Coastal region of Peru just below the edge of the Altiplano at 2,335 meters above sea level and surrounded by three impressive volcanoes. Arequipa is also known as The White City (Ciudad Blanca) because of its many colonial-era Spanish buildings built of “sillar”, a pearly white volcanic rock. The city is about an hour away by plane from Lima and 35 minutes away of Cuzco. We invite submissions of original works in all areas of Computer Graphics, Image Processing, Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition to the technical papers track. Papers will be double blindly reviewed by at least three experts in the topic of the work.
