MICCAI Challenge on Liver UltraSound Tracking 2014 (CLUST14) Call for Papers

MICCAI Challenge on Liver UltraSound Tracking 2014 (CLUST14) September 14, 2014, Boston, USA http://clust14.ethz.ch The data for this challenge has now been released and we are awaiting your papers by 7th of June 2014. The purpose of this challenge is to present the current state-of-the-art in automated tracking of anatomical liver structures in ultrasound sequences. We invite participants to evaluate their methods on a dataset of 55 liver ultrasound sequences from patients and volunteers under free-breathing. The dataset consists of - 38 2D sequences, - 17 3D sequences, of which 80% (10% for training, 70% for testing) are now available and the remaining 20% will be released shortly before the MICCAI conference. Tracking performance of the test set will be evaluated by the organizers (based on manual annotations) and communicated via a leader board summary. Short papers (4+ LNCS pages), describing the used algorithm and reporting the results for the 70% test dataset, will be reviewed for acceptance to the half-day MICCAI CLUST workshop. The methods presented at the CLUST workshop and their performance for the whole data set will be summarized in a joint journal paper.
